Prospectus

Please submit a cohesive body of work to display. Typically we display between 15 and 25 pieces of work per artist. Accepted applicants will be matched with four artists to display in the Becket Arts Center’s gallery during the 2025 exhibition season (end of May - early October).

Application Dates: December 15, 2024-February 28, 2025
Notification by email of acceptance or non-acceptance will be no later than March 31, 2025

Award: One artist will be selected for the season poster, receive $300 cash prize along with a solo exhibition August 8 - 31 in the Art Lounge Gallery.

Fees: $25 Application fee ($20 for Becket Arts Center members)

Entry fees are nonrefundable

If you require help with your application, a workshop will be held at the Becket Arts Center on Saturday, January 25th from 10-1.

Eligibility:

Open to all artists 18 and over. Artists are responsible for delivery and return of their work. All work must be original work produced by the artist submitting the application, reproductions are prohibited. It must not have been shown at Becket Arts Center in the past two years (2023 or 2024). All work must be offered for sale unless agreed upon by the Art Curator. Artists will receive 75% commission of the sale price of all artworks and the Becket Arts Center will retain a 25% commission. All work must be ready to be displayed; wired for hanging artwork (no sawtooth hangers), three-dimensional work must be able to sit on a display pedestal.
